What is and is not included in the retreat price?

How are we going to travel to and from Casa Firefly from Limon Airport? And to and from the other actitivies?

Via a shuttle van! Donna and I have booked all of our transport to/from the airport plus for all activities. However, you will need to arrive and depart from Limon at the times suggested below. If for some reason you must arrive or depart from Limon at a different time, the drive is about 30 minutes away and we can assist you with booking a taxi (at your own expense, cost approx $30 each way).

How do I get from San Jose airport to Limon airport? Which flights do you suggest to book to Limon?

So the thing about arriving to Costa Rica from most European cities is that most flights go through San Jose… which is nowhere close to the ocean. If you’re adventurous and have a lot of time on your hands, you can take a 5 hour shuttle bus from San Jose to Limon, but I would recommend a quick 45 minute commuter flight, offered several times per day for about 100 euros each way. These small flights are operated by Sansa.

Please book the Sansa flight departing San Jose at 12:40 and arriving to Limon at 13:25. If you don’t book this flight, no problem, just please arrange to meet us at the airport for a 13:30 departure to Casa Firefly.

For the return, please book the Sansa Flight departing Limon at 16:05 and arriving to San Jose at 16:50 on Saturday, March 29. If you don’t book this flight, no problem, but you will need to either book a later flight or plan to stay overnight, as we will be arriving to the airport around 15:00 on Saturday.

*** please note, the commuter flights by Sansa have not yet been released (approx 6 months before), so these times are estimated based on the current San Jose - Limon schedule. As soon as these flights are official, we will announce this to the group!
