By popular demand, the teacher training program I have designed and developed to help barre enthusiasts learn the basics about anatomy, alignment, and proper form in order to amp up their own practice and be able to deliver their own kick-ass barre lessons will return in hybrid form (split online/ in-person) this spring/summer!
I am going to level with you, babes. CO-VID 19 has hit the fitness industry HARD. It’s made doing what I love and attending classes in a studio impossible for several months for many, and the far-reaching implications of this pandemic are impossible to predict in this moment.
However, I have received MORE interest in my Barre Teacher Training than ever before! Perhaps due to increased free time, the YouTube/ online classes I have been producing, or a variety of other factors. So I have decided to launch a hybrid online/ in-person Barre Teacher Training for the first time!
This training is perfect for barre lovers who want to take their passion to the next level as instructors, or who just want to develop their understanding of how barre exercises work and how to enhance their class experience.
The next round of Barre Teacher Training will be held in May/June 2020 in a combination of online (Zoom) workshops and in-person practicums. You’ll need to complete both the online and in-person workshops in order to earn your 60 hour certification. 30 hour certifications are available for those who wish to participate online only!
You need to be present for a minimum 3/4 Zoom workshops (if you miss, sessions will be recorded for your review) and 3/4 in-person workshops (no make-ups possible).
Zoom Workshop Dates:
4 Saturday’s in May! (May 9, 16, 23, & 30) from 11:00 to 14:00! (Amsterdam/ CEST time zone)
In-person Practicum Dates:

Quotes from Past Participants
Participants who have completed their teacher training explain why you should join:
“Taylor is the best teacher trainer and barre instructor I ever had. I am very lucky to have her as my mentor. She has always been responsive to my questions, caring and checked on me regularly to see how things went. Next to that, she is simply a library and has an enormous amount of fitness knowledge. I learnt so much from her. This teacher training is absolutely beneficial and fruitful, i.e. learning the correct postures, which muscle group is targeted for particular exercise. Totally recommended!” (Alexia Wu)
“This barre training from Taylor is the perfect combination of theory and practice! Taylor is extremely inspiring and at the same time approachable, which for me makes her the ideal trainer. I loved learning about the anatomy and which muscles are targeted in different exercises as well as the very practical teaching skills. Thanks Taylor!!” (Karin van Wouwe)
“It feels like I only just started the course last week and here I am, already a certified barre teacher who teached her first lesson yesterday. I really enjoyed the course; it was intense with homework, class evaluations and workshops but it didn’t feel intense; it gave me a lot of positive energy and knowledge.” (Jiska Willemsen)
“The training was great. Taylor is very helpful and friendly. We learned so much during the training: there was a good balance between theory and practice! At the end we all did improve our skills and felt more confident. Thank you Taylor for all the good advice and your positive energy!” (Elise Durr)
